Fashion designer, knitter, occasional sewer and recovering hair-weave addict. A true New Yorker (Brooklyn-born & raised), I'm mostly inspired by graffiti, color and all things shiny/glittery. So pretty much the 80s. :)
The Alexander McQueen exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is beyond words. If you love art (and obviously, fashion) it is definitely a must see. My favorite part is the "Romantic Gothic" room. It's really dark with these beautifully aged mirrors all over and has a very Edgar Allen Poe/Tim Burton feel to it. Dark, beautiful and slightly creepy at the same time. The exhibit now runs until August 7th, so hurry up and see it!
